Job Summary

Regent University seeks a recognized Cybersecurity expert with the vision, enthusiasm and motivation to help lead the new Institute for Cybersecurity. The new Institute is mission-critical, and represents a significant strategic academic investment by the university. The successful Director will bring together faculty, professional staff, and research from across the University to study emerging cyber threats and risks. The Director will build partnerships with industry leaders to help advance the Institute’s mission, and will represent the Institute within the University and among a wide range of external audiences. Candidates will also be expected to teach a combination of online and on-campus courses in Computer Science, Cyber Security or in Information Systems.

Qualifications:  An earned Doctorate in Cybersecurity, Computer Science or related discipline from a regionally accredited institution; extensive experience in the Cybersecurity field; a combination of academic scholarship and/or professional achievement sufficient to support the Institute of Cybersecurity; and a vibrant Christian life and testimony.
